Hello again!
Now I have added some details to my diorama and I have also started to correct some of the colors on the wall and on the grass. Im far from done with this part but it seems that it is moving along at a good pace so in a week or so I will be able to start on the vehicle and figures.
The tools are the first details that I have added and they are made from brass wire, plastic sheet and hairs from an old paintbrush. Pretty tricky stuff to glue them on straight…
I have also added a tree that is from Sweetwater Scenery and started it’s life as a 1/35 scale tree which I have been cutting off branches and used for three or four dioramas. Turns out quite well in this small scale…
Small turfs of grass from MiniNatur has also been added to create more volume and life to the grass.
Below you’ll find pictures of the diorama base and how it looks right now, enjoy.

Hi,

Great little base, everything fits wonderfully in place.
Now I’ll go and check out the rest of your site

The scene is starting to look really Sven-Åke. Im always amazed at the level at this scale. The brush and fork … excellent! Will be watching.
Thanks Frank!!!
Not up to your level yet but one day I will scratchbuild a ruined building doing it brick by brick just like you
In 1/72 scale? Go on … I dare you
)
It is actually on my to do list. A Panther going through a brick wall. The only trouble with the idea was that the diorama was going to capture the exact moment the tank went through the wall with bricks flying all over the place. Once I figure out how to solve the flying bricks problem I will go for it. And yes I have abot 5000 bricks (ready made) in my boxes of goodies so it is just a matter of me putting on my thinking-cap
Hmmm. If I pull this off then you must build atleast one dio in 1/72
Sven-Åke
A dio in 1/72? … maybe some day. I´ll wait for payment first … ie …your panther dio … sounds fascinating.
Dear Sven!
Excellent as always!
Great job!
